Annotated Bibliography

An annotated bibliography is simply a bibliography which includes a summary of all the sources used. Within these annotations can be an evaluation and a reflection of the material. The evaluation should include whether or not the source was beneficial in the research and how it is compared to the other sources. The evaluation part of the annotation is very similar to how you evaluate a source because it require to ask yourself is the information is reliable, unbiased, and relevant. The reflection portion of the annotation includes how your sources were helpful in your research. It should discuss how they helped to mold your argument and exactly how you used it in your research. We are required to have an annotated bibliography because it allows us to pay closer attention to our sources. It also allows anybody who isnt familiar with our topic to get a good idea of the overall point of our research.
