Websites

One website which could really come in handy for my research is http://money.cnn.com/2005/06/24/news/international/music_piracy/. This site is operated by the CNN network which is one of the main leaders for delivering the news. Since the site is government affiliated, I know that it will be a solid reliable source. The site was last updated in 2005 which is fairly recent. This site talks about how sales of pirated material greatly out weigh those of legitimate sales. These actions are causing a big problem within the economy and within music industries.

The second site I found is http://www.gfktechtalk.com/2011/07/29/music-downloading-is-the-law-the-answer-to-music-piracy/. Although the author of this site is not exactly scholarly, he cited his sources so that viewers could see where he obtained his information from. This site is helpful because it includes graphs and statistics which I really need for my research.
